FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT
Created pursuant to P.D. 1096, otherwise known as the National Building Code of the Philippines before the devolution to the City of Calamba Local Government Unit and has primary jurisdiction on matters relevant to and defined under P.D. 1096, and shall continue to be a pillar in the implementation enforcement of the code.
OBJECTIVE
As mandated by law, this office shall be unfaltering and steadfast in the implementation and enforcement of P.D. 1096 exercising discretion and judgment within the ambit of jurisdiction with the paramount consideration of the general welfare with the altruistic feeling of contributing for the common good.
