To coordinate, administer, implement various cultural and community affairs and sees to it that all programs will be celebrated successfully;
To develop integrated tourism program and evaluate implementation of such programs and activities related to it;
To develop integrated sports program and develop athletes that can compete locally and internationally in any sports competition of choice;
To monitor and evaluate implementation of different development programs and activities of the city;
To provide technical assistance in establishing standards, policies and procedures related to tourism and sports development.
